  1. How is the Grout Armor® Process different?

Grout Armor® is a proprietary color sealer that is applied to the grout which seals the grout lines making it non-porous so bacteria and dirt will no longer absorb in the grout line while maintaining a consistent color.  The Grout Armor® process is guaranteed to resist stains and can lasts 15 years if properly maintained

  2. What other grout cleaning methods are there?

Other "grout cleaning processes" use acids or harsh cleaning chemicals that clean the grout lines but NEVER to the extent that the color of the grout lines are consistent.  Even when a steam cleaner is used the color of the grout lines are not consistent.  The Grout Armor® process guarantees 100% color consistency from one end of the floor to the other, no matter how dirty the floor is.  There are even some commercial processes that burn the glaze off the non-porous tile, making it porous.  Then the

grout lines are treated.  Then finally a topographical coating is applied to the tile floor.  Unfortunately this top coat is in no way as hard and resilient as the original tile. The Grout Armor® Process treats only the problem, the dirty grout.  We do not attempt to "Recreate" your floor, just restore and protect it.

  3. What about Steam Cleaning?

Granted steam cleaning will clean your floor better than most other process however you still end up with shade variations and uneven coloring.  Not the desired look to illustrate how impeccable your facility is maintained.

  4. Why doesn’t Grout Armor® use a clear grout sealer?

Even with new floor installations there's always unavoidable shade variations and stains from cleanup, it's Grout Armor's philosophy to simply match the desired color of grout with our proprietary color sealer and its guarantee 100% color consistency and customer satisfaction.  Why would one want to put a clear sealer over inconsistent colored grout lines with stains?

  5. How long will it last?

Grout Armor® technicians offer a five year residential warrantee and three years for commercial applications when applied by a certified Grout Armor® technician.  We are proud to report Grout Armor® Color Sealers have been used and proven on commercial and residential applications for over fifteen years.

  6. How do I maintain the floor after the Grout Armor® process?

Once your floor is treated with Grout Armor® all you need to do is wash your floor with a neutral cleaner, scrubbing the grout lines directly.  There will never be a need to use acids or harsh chemicals again, guaranteed. Grout Armor® also provides a complete line of award winning Green products in a never ending attempt to remain on the leading edge of technology and service.
